Enhanced contact data & security auditing

releaseD in v4.5 Operating in Italy or do you simply need to capture specific contact details - like place of birth - during your delivery or billing flows? We have expanded our data collection capabilities, allowing you to request place of birth and track origin IP addresses across more stages of the customer journey to meet your specific administrative or security needs.

Solution

We have extended the availability of contact fields to support more comprehensive data collection across different forms.

Extended Field Availability

  • ID Type: Previously available for account creation, the ID Type field is now available in Shipment contact and Relay Sub-group forms.

  • Place of Birth: You can now capture place of birth (Country, Town, ...) in Billing contact forms, Shipment contact forms, Relay Sub-group forms, Friends & Family (purchase on behalf), and Individual purchase forms.

Enhanced Security Auditing (IP Address)

To support fraud detection and security auditing, the system now automatically captures the Origin IP Address:

  • Registration: Records the source IP when a new account is created.

  • Login: Persists the IP of the first login event in case it was not to recorded at creation ( for legacy accounts).
