Back-Office Security V4 changes
Back-Office user roles
For TIXNGO V4 roll-out, the current back-office roles are maintained as of now (no addition, no removal). Their permissions have been adapted for V4, in order to fix some inconsistencies from the past.
Role Name | Suitable for | Scope |
|---|---|---|
ADMIN (AU) | Ticketing Managers | Can perform all the back-office actions. Recommendation: Keep the number of ADMINs as low as possible, but at least have two different accounts with ADMIN role. |
TIXNGO_SUPPORT (TS) | Ticketing Senior Staff | Can perform almost all back-office actions except accessing the API key and managing back-office accounts. Recommendation: If you're not sure whether to assign the ADMIN role, and you want to keep your API key secret, you can use this role |
SUPPORT (SU) | Ticketing Support Staff L1 | Can browse Tickets & Spectators and perform basic troubleshooting actions (reset spectator’s devices, resend emails). |
BASIC (BU) | Ticketing Support Staff L2 | Can browse Tickets & Spectators and perform advanced troubleshooting actions (what can SUPPORT role can do plus Delete ticket + Initiate transfer). |
MODERATOR | Content Moderator | Can configure V4 Communication Templates (Campaigns, Emails, Notifications), can create V4 Campaigns and do what BASIC role can do. |
