PeakProtect new waiting page
RELEASED in V1.3 Operating large on-sales? The user experience of the queue has been redesigned and you can now easily customize it from the back-office.
Solution
We have redesigned the PeakProtect (PKP) waiting page and made it even more modern and responsive. The new waiting page can be easily cust
Getting started
Fully responsive new layout
Timer: We have redesigned the timer to make it more engaging.
Language selector: The language selection button has been moved to the top right corner.
Position in the queue: We have added a new component to display the user’s position in the queue. To active it, a new option has been added in the admin dashboard of PKP.
Long wait component: The component during the long wait has been improved, and instead of a spinner, the timer will be displayed without the time.
Configuration
A new Waiting Page Editor is now available from the PKP back-office to simplify customization and eliminate the need for manual ZIP imports.
The editor provides a default waiting page template, which can be quickly tailored to match your brand, messages, and layout preferences. For advanced customization, the ZIP file can still be downloaded, modified, and re-uploaded as before, giving you full flexibility.
The editor provides full control over the waiting page’s appearance, including:
Background: set a solid color, gradient, or background image.
Typography: Customize general text fonts, title fonts, and title weights.
Logo: override the default logo and adjust its height.
Buttons and links: change button colors, button text, and link colors.
Input fields: modify border color, width, and style.
Labels: update the labels
Messages (optional): update colors and backgrounds for error, warning, and info messages.
The new Waiting Page Editor is only compatible with the new Waiting Page (V4). For the older version of the waiting page, only label modification is supported.
To access the editor, you must create a new Waiting Page.
The system will automatically upload the new default Waiting Page (V4) zip and upload it.
Once the waiting page zip is uploaded, when the waiting page is opened again, the user will see a new button Inline edit button, to customize the zip.
You can continue to use the default waiting page (V4) or customize it with the new editor using Inline edit.
Once you click the Inline edit button, you will be presented with the editor screen, which contains two tabs: Labels and UI
Labels
Under the Label tab, you can modify the different labels displayed in the Waiting Page of PKP, for each of the different languages. Language files can be added or removed, giving you control over which languages are available on the waiting page.
UI (User Interface)
Under the UI tab, you can modify the look&feel of the Waiting Page: colors, fonts, logos, etc.
The Reset button only undo changes made in the current session. To start over from the default Waiting Page (V4), you can delete the existing page and create a new one.
