Improved 3DDV 3D seat map integration

You want to offer a 3DDV 3D map of your venue? Or already have one? The integration has been updated to provide the best-in-class user experience with 3DDV’s latest improvements. Not only is the 3D rendering and UX amazing but the integration process is seamless and updates to the 3D visuals can be done in no time, for example if change sponsor banners within your venues.

Solution

The integration uses the latest 3D seat map plugin available from 3DDV. The updated integration also supports 3-step flows (area, block, seat) for optimal UX in the context a extended venues, like racing circuits.

Getting Started

Backend Configuration:

After signing a contract with 3DDV, the team will provide the unique seatmap ID for your venue. (Note: SecuTix does not generate this ID.)
Enter the ID in the Logical Configuration > Visualization at Organization level.

Points of attention:

MUST USE EVOLUTION theme (Ticketshop 1.5 new theme)
The 3DDV Venue ID (External SeatMap ID) must be generated by 3DDV.
SecuTix does not host or generate these IDs.
If the Venue ID is incorrect (e.g., typo, invalid mapping), the seatmap will automatically fall back to the 2D seatmap.
The 3DDV map does not fully support zooming from block-to-seat flow in complex venues, as the system needs to load the second map for seat view.
